has anyone got recommendations of companies to approach.

    Say more!!

What are your expectations? When ‘all this is done’ what do you see people doing, saying differently?

    What outcomes are required?

How will the database be used?

    Cheers

Hullo Stuart. I’m not clear I’m afraid what you mean by a “TNA Database Solution”. There are quite a number of survey companies who offer templates for identifying needs – a Google search will find several. A company that we use, though for other surveys, is Keypoint, at http://www.camsp.com. You have to make a once-off purchase of their software.

SurveyMonkey is another (Google will find it) – this is simpler and you can rent the software for about £20 a month, for as little as one month.

Having said all that, as Martin indicated there are a lot of things that need to be done before purchasing or designing a TNA survey. These include thinking about why you are doing it – do you have a business question? an HR planning question (which should link to a business one of course)? an individual performance issue? helping someone with self-development? and so on.

There are many processes and tools for all those different starting points. A survey might be useful but probably only after considerable exploration – necessary to help you decide what to ask in that survey.

I have a powerpoint that shows some ITN (as I still call them!) starting points and related processes/tools. If you’d like to see it then email me at tboydell@inter-logics.net (anyone else is welcome too!)

    Cheers
