GNP, creators of Top Team 2000, are to launch a ground-breaking publication on the Internet, which they are calling an ‘idea-zine.’
TEAM THEME, available by e-mail in instalments, is a toolkit of tips and techniques for running team-building events and away days. Each issue will focus on a different theme, providing a set of games from ice-breakers to substantial exercises that can be used separately or in a linked programme.
Each issue will include a wealth of photographs and material from team-building events to demonstrate the ideas in action.
Co-editor David Williams said: "Our aim is to provide fresh and practical ideas for facilitators, with step-by-step instructions and materials for the games we feature. We will illustrate a wide range of activities, and show how they might be adapted to suit different situations. We also want to share our experience of running these events, warts and all, focusing on the pitfalls as well as the possibilities."
GNP are also offering a free advice line for subscribers to help them construct their own programmes, and hope to establish a network for mutual learning in the field of team development.
Subscription costs £99 for ten instalments by e-mail, or £15 for a single issue. A hard copy version is also available for £135 post free for ten instalments.
