Hello all hope you are well?
I have been given about 48 hrs to put together a knowledge folder (Skills and Behaviours to be addressed in other methods) for a group of people who have recently been successful in joining a Step Up management programme. This programme is aimed at getting 1st line service staff in an insurance claim centre ready to interview for a Team Managers position. The topics the business wishes to cover in this folder are as follows. Coaching/Time Management/Communication Skills/Motivation and Learning/Performance Management.
I have been given some existing material from many years gone by but it is out of date and the standard needs raising a touch. With the deadline being so close I am researching of a night and designing during the day but am fast running out of time. Does anyone have any handouts - reading material or good sites to visit for the topics above?

Otherwise you could hit the local book shop and go for:
The 1 minute manager (or any of a hundred similar titles).
If you’re running out of time – go for short books with punchy outlines of ideas and don’t worry too much about fleshing them out. Assume for the moment that any one with potential will be able to do that themselves – and then revisit areas that were felt to be lacking after the event.
