Training Evaluation Questionnaire

default-16x9

I need to create a training evaluation questionnaire that centres around "course product knowledge" such as "The content provided in the training is useful to my daily activity"

Any suggestions or does anyone have samples, I may use?

  1. Getting detail
On our Evaluation forms we ask attendees to list three aspects that they believe they will use back in the workplace. I like this as they have to think about what they learnt and looking at the type of things they list I can gauge how useful the course was. If they can’t think of three or come up with items unrelated to the course objectives I can review the course content/delivery. I can also use this in further evaluation by contacting them a few weeks after the course to see if they are indeed using what they learnt.

  2. ROI Focus
    Hi There Maria!

I support Harriet’s comments about focussing on outcomes (which then provides feedback as to the validity and relevance of the content).

In conclusion you may wish to include questions like:

    1) What other changes have you introduced or influenced as a result of this programme – personally – within your team – within your division?
    2) What measurable benefits has (the organisation) received or will receive from your personal gains and participation in this programme?

  3. One way…!
to evaluate is the suggestion given by someone I interviewed for a job as a coach this week. “Tell them everything you know, ask if there are any questions and if there are none, then the session was a success”.

This saves so much time and saves faffing around with all those tedious forms and ROI calculations 😉
