I need to produce a report on TNA for our organisation and want to include an introduction and information about best practice for TNA. If you have any quotes/comments which I could include this would be much appreciated.

Re Training needs analysis
I worked through these NVQ Units:
A13 – Identify Organisational Training Needs
B12 – Plan to Implement an Organisation’s Training Needs and found them very helpful as a guide to best practice and source of information. I really learnt a lot – as oposed to purely accrediting the work I had done.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t know which training provider to reccomend to supply it.
Accelerate Model for TNA
I do find the ‘Accelerate Model’ for TNA quite useful – this can be found on http://www.reed.co.uk/training/content/trainingNeeds.aspx. It is a useful diagram explaining the holistic stages of conducting a TNA. I also find it useful to brief the companies (suitable ones) to produce a task scalar showing the job role and all its tasks. From here, we can clearly identify a range of training needs.
Toolkit
There is a TNA toolkit in the library on Training Zone, which might help you. It includes a step by step guide to completing a TNA. Click on Tools + Resources and library to find it.
Hope this helps.
