Where do you look for training venues?

default-16x9

Are there any directories that you can recommend that are of high quality? Are there any such directories that are training specific?
Any ideas on where to look for quality venue listing would be appreciated. Thanks.

I tend to stick to one or two solutions providers for this rather than hunt through directories each time (largely because it gives me a standardised level of service so I know what I and my clients can expect, and I get much simpler billing arrangements).

If a client wants something a bit different I then do a specific search on the web using the criteria they have given me. Personally I have found Initial Style Conferences helpful for a good range of venues around the country in different styles (http://www.initialstyle.co.uk) and I also use accenture (http://www.accenturehotelandconferencing.com/).

I agree with David Nicholl about Initial Style, they have many great venues themselves but will find a local venue for you if they don’t own one themselves

    Katie,

Have a look at Trainerbase which can be found at http://www.trainerbase.co.uk
You will find a listing/directory of venues specific to training.
